We have compiled some frequently asked questions, along with some that you may want to ask without knowing you want to ask them, and answered them all. Here is your one-stop-shop for answers to questions you may have before, or even after, purchasing one of our Infrared Saunas.
As the market becomes more saturated with different brands, kinds and variants of infrared saunas, why should you choose ours? There are a number of answers. Firstly, we have been doing this for 37 years, and were one of the original pioneers of infrared technology in saunas, so you can be sure that we know what we are talking about. With this experience, we have also been able to hone, not only our skills, but also the resources and methods we use to give you the very highest, and most sustainable, options. For example, the timber we use is fully sustainable 100% PEFC Western Red Cedar. For more examples and information, check out our blog post dedicated to this question.
Well, our’s are. We pride ourselves on using using certified 100% non-toxic materials in our patented designs, while many other sauna heaters are made of toxic components. We also have a third party test our EMF levels, coming away with very low results; most sauna heaters don’t get any kind of EMF testing. Research also shows that using an infrared sauna regularly can actually cut your risk of a stroke by 61%. The use of infrared heat is also perfectly safe, with this kind of heating being used to warm neonatal incubators. Never fear, we’ve made sure our saunas are as safe and as comfortable as can be.
Our cabins use Tecoloy® Heaters that generate far infrared light, which has the ability to safely penetrate your skin and create deep heat from within. This is perfectly safe, with this same kind of technology warming babies in neonatal incubators. This deep heat is also more comfortable, reaching temperatures that are lower, while still giving you all the benefits and more. It achieves this by not heating the air in between the heater and you, but by actually generating heat from within objects.
Pretty much anywhere. With our variety of sizes and capacities, we give you the ability to install a sauna anywhere from your living room to beside your pool. Also, if you did want to put one in your living room, there is no significant heat transmitted outside of the sauna, meaning that your carpeted floors remain safe.
Yes! absolutely We have a bluetooth enabled radio and CD player already installed into each of our saunas.
The best way to prevent your sauna becoming stained with perspiration is to place towels in the bench and the floor (where your feet will be located). And, if the wood does end up getting stained, you don’t have to worry, a quick sand down with fine-grit paper will do the trick.
No, you don’t need to do anything too fancy or mysterious to keep your sauna in great shape during your holiday. Unless you really wanted to, of course. We just advise unplugging it, and, when you get back, burning off the dust from the heaters by putting them up to maximum temperature and letting it sit for an hour before you use it again. There’s no magic involved, really.
Oh yes, definitely. The benefits are endless and the relaxation is unlimited.
