Health Mate Terms and Conditions

YOUR ORDER IS ACCEPTED ON THE BASIS THAT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW SHALL APPLY TO THE ORDER AND ANY SUBSEQUENT CONTRACT BETWEEN US. PLEASE READ ALL OF THEM CAREFULLY.

1. Formation of a Contract

1.1 Acknowledgment and acceptance of this order by you must be made signing the duplicate order enclosed with it. Or, in case of sales over the phone, by paying the full amount due.

1.2 This order shall be accepted entirely at our discretion and shall constitute a legally binding contract between us and you and such contract is hereafter referred to in these terms and conditions as 'an order'.

1.3 These conditions shall override any contrary, different, or additional terms and conditions contained or referred to in any quotations, estimates, prior order forms or other documents from us. No addition, alteration, substitution or waiver of these terms and conditions will be valid unless expressly accepted in writing by us or a person authorised to sign on our behalf.

1.4 These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

2. Product and Delivery

2.1 We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated, or impeded by reason of acts of war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of Health Mate UK.

2.2 If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

2.3 We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on our site, in our brochure or any other marketing material exactly reproduces the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. Natural products may show some colour variations. All sizes quoted are approximate.

2.4 The customer ensures that the location where the sauna is to be installed is safe, dry, in good condition and suitable in general terms. Our saunas are for indoor use and at all times need to be protected from rain.

2.5 The quoted delivery and installation price applies as far as the customer can provide a dry and safe place of installation. Health Mate UK cannot install any saunas in a location that is not suitable for electrical products.

2.7 Health Mate will do all that it reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of Health Mate UK, Health Mate UK may not be able to do so. In such circumstances Health Mate UK will contact the Customer and agree an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can to enable the delivery to take place on the given date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Customer the Customer may not be able to do so. In such circumstances the Customer will contact Health Mate UK and agree and alternative date.

2.8 As soon as Health Mate UK has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and Health Mate UK will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage or usage.

2.9 Ownership of the goods shall remain with Health Mate UK and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to Health Mate UK, have been paid in full.

3. Returns

3.1 All orders cancelled before delivery will be refunded in full

3.2 All returns require a return authorisation number. Please contact our customer service on 012 52705182

3.3 it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Health Mate UK of any damage within the first 48 hours after delivery

3.4 Health Mate UK has a 30 day return policy. All returns must be unused and in the original intact packaging and any return shipping costs are chargeable to the customer.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment is due in full before delivery of the goods.

5. Warranty

5.1 Health Mate UK offers a lifetime guarantee on wood, heaters and electronic parts. The lifetime guarantee on the wood covers warping and cracking of the wood, but does not cover wear and tear caused by use. Accessories and remote control have a 2 year warranty.

5.2 This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser of the sauna and terminates upon transfer of ownership. It does not extend to commercial or institutional use or installation. (In such case of commercial or institutional use, warranty is as such: Heaters: Lifetime; Wood: 5 years; Electrical Components: 2 years.

5.3 This warranty is void if the sauna has been subjected to alteration, misuse, abuse, accident, natural disaster or non-factory authorised modification or repair. This warranty is also void if the sauna has been operated or maintained in deviation to the published instructions. The warranty extends only to the manufacturing defects and does not cover any damages resulting from mishandling of the product by the owner. This warranty does not cover any normal wear and tear due to usage. Broken glass and light bulb, whatever the cause, are not covered by this warranty.

5.4 The above warranty applies as far as the customer can provide a dry and safe place of installation. Health Mate products are IPX4 rated. Meaning splash proof but not waterproof. HM saunas are indoor saunas and must be protected from the rain at all times.

In these terms and conditions: 'We and Us' means Health Mate UK either alone or together with you, as the context requires; 'You' means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions; 'Installing or Installation’ means the putting together of the product using the easy click system provided.
